Missed Call Medic is a service of Top Notch Investing Inc ("we," "us"). This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect, how we use it, and the terms that apply to text messages sent through our service.

1. Who this covers

This policy covers (a) visitors to missedcallmedic.com and people who email us, and (b) people who call or text a business that uses Missed Call Medic (our "clients"). When we handle calls and texts for a client, we do so on that business's behalf and following its instructions; that business's own privacy policy also applies.

2. What we collect

From our website and email: information you choose to send us, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, and message. Our host may automatically log basic technical data (like IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and performance. The cost calculator runs in your browser; we don't store the numbers you enter.

For client businesses (callers and texters): when you call a business that uses our service and the call is missed, we may process your phone number, the time of the call, and the content of text conversations with that business (for example, what you need and when you'd like a callback). We use this only to respond to you on the business's behalf, pass your request to the business, and keep records of the conversation.

3. How we use information

• To reply to your inquiry and provide our services.
• To send texts on behalf of a client business after you contact it.
• To keep records, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with the client business you contacted, service providers that help us run the service (such as phone/SMS carriers, messaging platforms, email, and hosting providers) under confidentiality obligations, and authorities when required by law.

5. SMS terms

• What you'll get: after you call or text a business that uses Missed Call Medic, you may receive conversational texts from that business about your request (for example, a reply to a missed call, questions about the job, or scheduling).
• Message frequency varies based on your conversation.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to opt out. You'll get one confirmation text and no further messages unless you contact the business again.
• Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Automated and AI assistants

Texts sent through Missed Call Medic on behalf of a business may be written and sent by an automated or AI assistant, not a person. We disclose this in the conversation. You can ask to talk to a person at any time, and the business will follow up directly.

7. How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service, meet our obligations to client businesses, and comply with the law, and then delete or de-identify it.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information (like payment card numbers) by text.

9. Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, you may have the right to know what personal information we've collected about you, to request deletion or correction of it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing (we don't sell or share it). We won't discriminate against you for using these rights. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity. If your request is about a conversation with one of our client businesses, we may forward it to that business.

10. Children

Our service is for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

11. Changes

We may update this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
